Cybertruck Delivery Windows Keep Shifting. Set Up the Interior Before the Truck Lands
By EV Bandit | Updated October 6, 2026
If you ordered a Cybertruck this year, the delivery date you were quoted has probably moved, and the reports do not agree on where it will land. The useful response is to stop waiting and build the interior now, so the truck is ready the day it arrives.
The timeline, as reported
- Feb. 25, 2026. Teslarati reported the Dual Motor AWD estimate had moved from June 2026 to September-October 2026, “presumably due to strong demand,” at a $59,990 price before incentives.
- June 11, 2026. CarsDirect reported the base Dual Motor AWD wait exceeded six months with an earliest delivery of 2027, and listed Premium AWD at September-October 2026 and Cyberbeast at July-August 2026.
- Today. Tesla’s own configurator is the only source that matters for your VIN, and it is the one number we cannot check from here.
The base Cybertruck Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive model has a wait time of over six months.
The two reports disagree on the base truck and agree on little else, so we are not going to guess. Treat the dates as a moving window, not a promise.
What this means for owners
Waiting is the one stretch where you can buy accessories without a truck to test them on, which is a risk and an advantage. The risk: fitment on a new truck. The listings below are written for 2023-2025 trucks, so if yours is a 2026 build, confirm fitment with us before you order. The advantage: you can have it all in the box before delivery day.
If you already have the truck and want the bed side, our piece on the Bed Gear Box and L-Track covers it.
First-week checklist
1. Floor mats, before the first wet day

The All-Weather Floor Mats are $179.99 and cover the first and second rows in black TPE. The title reads 2023-2024 while the single variant is labeled 24-25, so the safe read is that it is built for the early truck and you should confirm a 2026 build.

2. A place for the small stuff

The Center Console Organizer is a magnetic under-screen tray with a rubber mat, listed for 2023-2025. It comes in two cuts: the standard Center Console Organizer at $79.99 and the Flocked version at $69.98.
3. Protect the tailgate edge

The Rear Bumper Tailgate Protector guards the step edge you will scuff first. For the Cybertruck it comes as TPE at $109, or in Carbon Fiber Pattern, Chrome Black and Matt Black at $99.99 each. The same listing also carries two Model 3 options, so pick the Cybertruck lines.
4. If a dog rides along

The Cybertruck Dog Seat Cover is a widened, waterproof rear-seat protector at $129.99, listed for 2024-2025 trucks.
