Model Y trailer hitch is rated at 3,500 lbs towing capacity and 350 lbs tongue weight capacity. Tongue weight capacity pertains to hauling weight - for example, this would include the weight of your bike rack and bikes.

Model 3 Rated for 300 pounds tongue weight at the trailer ball, and 2,000 pounds towing weight, it’ll have the strength to keep up with the rugged yet sophisticated Teslas. 

Wiring Harness allows you to outfit your vehicle with a standard connector for plugging in your trailer wiring for towing. The wire harness ensures that you are towing safely with your Tesla

WIRING HARNESS

An optional wiring harness can be used to activate a trailer's stop/turn/tail/running lights. We offer a universal harness that doesn't require cutting or splicing into your Model Y's wiring system.

Instead, simply snap on sensors to the factory harness. Sensors snapped over vehicle wires sensing the application of electrical current and engaging the trailer lights. No cutting or splicing of vehicle wiring! Perfect for leased vehicles. 

A re-settable short circuit/overload protection will guard itself and the tow vehicle against shorts and wiring install mishaps; rated at 4.2 amps for turn/stop circuits, and 7.5 amps for taillight circuits.
