Tesla Canada's Model 3 Premium RWD Page Now Shows 584 km. What the Spec Change Says, What It Doesn't, and Gear for Whenever Yours Arrives

By EV Bandit | Updated October 27, 2026

At a glance. Tesla Canada's Model 3 page now lists the Premium RWD at 584 km and 5.2 seconds to 100 km/h, figures that match the U.S.-built car. Tesla has announced nothing. Orders for the trim remain paused, with the site pointing to March 2027.
Key takeaways
  • Tesla Canada's Model 3 page now lists the Premium RWD at up to 584 km of EPA-estimated range and 5.2 seconds 0 to 100 km/h, up from 463 km and 6.2 seconds, per Electrek and Drive Tesla.
  • 584 km equals the 363-mile EPA rating of the U.S.-built Premium RWD. Tesla has announced nothing.
  • Orders for the trim remain paused. Tesla's site says expected March 2027 if the government issues more quota, per Electrek.
  • No Canadian price is announced: Electrek estimates roughly C$65,000 to C$67,000 for a Fremont-built car; Drive Tesla says it could land below C$55,990.
  • The only Model 3 orderable in Canada right now is the Performance at C$74,990, per Electrek.

Tesla Canada changed two numbers on a web page, and a lot of Canadian Model 3 shoppers read it as a signal. Electrek reports the Model 3 Premium RWD now shows up to 584 km of EPA-estimated range and a 5.2-second 0 to 100 km/h time, up from 463 km and 6.2 seconds. Drive Tesla independently confirms the same change, dated Monday, October 26.

“Up to 584 km (EPA est.) on a single charge.” Tesla Canada's Model 3 page, as quoted by Electrek

What changed, and what it matches

Both outlets note that 584 km equals the 363-mile EPA rating of the U.S.-built Premium RWD. Electrek adds that Tesla's U.S. site lists that car at 4.9 seconds to 60 mph and a $42,490 USD starting price. The Canada comparison page still showed the old figures when Electrek checked. Electrek credits a Canadian owner, RJ (@RJTesla), on X for spotting the change.

Earlier U.S.-built price in Canada Outlets differ C$54,990 per Electrek; C$55,990 per Drive Tesla

The price gap is not a typo on our end. The two outlets give different figures for what the U.S.-built RWD cost in Canada, and we could not settle it from the published pages. Electrek also reports that Canada's 25% counter-tariffs on U.S.-made vehicles still apply, citing the Department of Finance, and that the only Model 3 orderable in Canada right now is the Performance at C$74,990. That matches our earlier post on the order pause.

What this means for owners

If you are waiting, the honest read is that a spec page changed and a price did not appear. Do not order against a rumour. If you already have a Model 3, or you take delivery of one, the wait is a good moment to sort the small things that make a car feel finished. Three items, and they solve three different jobs.

Plan B: three small jobs, three products

3Y cradle-free magnetic phone mount for the center screen of a Tesla Model 3
The 3Y Cradle-Free Phone Mount ($39.99) is listed for all Model 3, Y, S, X and Cybertruck years. It holds a phone in landscape with magnets and an adhesive plate; it does not charge the phone.

Phone. A magnetic, cradle-free mount that sticks to the back of the screen. The listing says it works on all years and models, and it ships with non-magnet plates, spare adhesive and a removal tool. Shipping to Canada carries extra cost, per the listing, so check the total.

Tesla Charging Cable Organizer wall bracket for Model S, X, 3 and Y mobile connector
The Tesla Charging Cable Organizer ($32.99) is listed for Models S, X, 3 and Y. It is a wall bracket for the cable and connector, not a charger.

Cable. Canadian winters are hard on a cord left on the garage floor. This wall-mount organizer is listed for Model S, X, 3 and Y, and it keeps the charging cable and connector off the ground. It is a holder only; it does not change charging speed.

Tempered glass screen protector for the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y center display
The Tempered Glass Screen Protector ($39.99) is listed as 0.3 mm thick with 9H surface hardness for Model 3 and Y. Confirm the fit for your build year before ordering.

Screen. A 0.3 mm tempered-glass film, 9H hardness per the listing, that covers the screen without trimming. The listing says Model 3 and Y without naming screen sizes, so check it against your car's year before you order. It protects the glass; it does nothing for the phone or the cable above.

Straight talk. None of these bring your delivery date closer. They are for the car you have, or the one you will get when Tesla lets you order it.
