Material Descriptions

1. FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer):

• Characteristics: FRP parts are crafted from fibers (e.g., glass) combined with a polymer matrix (resin). Markings or pockmarks are typical and not defects but traits of the material.
• Fitment: Adjustments may be required for perfect alignment. Sanding lines or filler marks are common and should be addressed by a professional installer.
• Finishing: Delivered with a primed black, gray, or white finish, FRP is intended for professional preparation and painting.

2. Wet Carbon (CFRP – Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer):

• Characteristics: Made by impregnating carbon fiber with resin, resulting in a deep weave pattern. Pinholes or slight weave variations are natural outcomes of the process.
• Finish: Often glossy but may benefit from an extra coat of clear lacquer for enhanced depth and protection.
• Care: Allow time before applying Paint Protection Film (PPF) to avoid peeling off lacquer.

3. Dry Carbon (Pre-preg Carbon Fiber):

• Characteristics: Dry carbon offers superior strength, lightness, and premium finish. Resin is pre-impregnated into the fiber for consistent quality.
• Finish: Exhibits an OEM-like finish, seamlessly integrating with your vehicle.
• Quality: Meticulous manufacturing ensures precise fitment and maximum durability.

4. PP (Polypropylene):

• Characteristics: Lightweight thermoplastic with excellent resistance to chemicals, cracking, and impact. Offers flexibility for better fitment.
• Fitment: Easier to install due to flexibility, allowing for better adjustment and alignment.
• Finishing: Can be painted but requires proper surface treatment due to its hydrophobic nature.
• Care: Resistant to cleaning chemicals; maintain with regular washing and occasional waxing for durability.
