Built From Real Metal, Not Plastic
Most no-drill brackets are molded plastic blocks or thin stamped frames that flex, rattle, and fade. The Slipstream Bracket® is cut from aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with a baked-on powder coating over phosphate prep, so it won't rust, warp, or chalk out in the sun. Stainless steel tamper-resistant fasteners keep your plate where you put it.
Engineered to Protect Your Paint
Less than 0.5% of the bracket actually contacts your grille. Rather than clamping onto delicate bodywork, it anchors to the structural strength of the lower front air dam. Custom rubber pads and protective caps mean the metal never touches your Tesla's paint — no scratches, no swirl marks, no pressure points.
Full FSD & Front Camera Compatibility
The 2026 Model Y's front-facing camera sits right where most brackets get in the way. This one was custom-designed and tested for over a year specifically to avoid it — delivering zero camera obstruction and flawless Full Self-Driving and Autosteer operation, verified against the latest FSD software and hardware.
Zero Assembly — Ready Out of the Box
No parts to build, nothing to adjust. The patented self-adjusting rotating arm system attaches to your Model Y in minutes: mount your plate, hook the arms into the grille, install the security screws, lock it down, done.
1. Attach your license plate to the front of the bracket with the included L-key and Screw Pack A, then twist on the protective caps.
2. Rotate the upper swivel extensions outward at a slight angle.
3. Insert the lower saddle forks into the bottom grille spaces while guiding the upper extensions into the 2nd space from the top.
4. Push firmly on one side at a time to hook each extension behind the grille, then install the Screw Pack B washers and screws and tighten.
Pro tip: loosening the pre-installed screws first makes hooking the arms easier. Push downward and inward.

Keep the L-key in your Tesla so you can remove the plate anytime. Use only M6 × 1.0 screws. Extended-length screws for E-ZPass transponders are available separately.
