How it works
A compact sound generation unit reads your Tesla's CAN bus through a contactless sensor — no cutting, no splicing, no stripping of factory wiring. It interprets throttle, speed, and braking in real time, then drives custom acoustic speakers mounted under the rear of the vehicle. The result is engine sound that responds to how you actually drive, inside and out.
Why Terminator over other active exhaust systems
- One amplifier per speaker. Most systems split a single amp across every speaker. Terminator gives each speaker its own high-power amplifier — which is why it reaches real exhaust volume and reproduces sharp pops and crackles instead of a muddy drone.
- Scalable architecture. Add speakers and amplifiers as you go. Output scales with the system instead of hitting a ceiling.
- Nothing permanent. No welding, no cutting, no exhaust modification. The factory warranty stays intact, and the whole system can be removed or moved to your next car.

Control it from your phone
The TERMINATOR app (iOS and Android) connects over Bluetooth and puts the whole system in your pocket. Browse and switch sound profiles in two taps. Set independent levels for general volume, idle, and engine braking. Dial in backfire intensity and pedal response. Save configured modes for Comfort, Sport, and anything in between — then drop it to silent mode when you pull into your driveway at midnight.

- Basic — Main unit + 1 acoustic speaker. The entry point. A subtle but unmistakable engine presence for daily driving.
- Ultra — Main unit + 1 acoustic speaker + Ultra high-frequency speaker. Adds treble detail, depth, and noticeably more volume. Our most popular configuration.
- Extra — Main unit + 2 acoustic speakers + Ultra speaker. Serious output for owners who want the car heard before it's seen.
- Mega — Main unit + 3 acoustic speakers + Ultra speaker. Maximum acoustic firepower.

Installation
Plan on 2 to 4 hours with basic hand tools. Speakers mount under the rear of the vehicle — on the exhaust system, bumper reinforcement, frame rails, or behind the rear bumper — using the included universal brackets. The main unit lives in the trunk. No welding and no permanent modification required.

Common questions
Can people tell it isn't real? In the vast majority of cases, no. Bystanders don't identify it as generated sound.
Will this void my Tesla warranty? No. The system connects contactlessly to the CAN bus and doesn't modify factory components, wiring, or the drivetrain.
Can I turn it off? Anytime, from the app. Useful in parking garages, residential streets, or any time you'd rather drive silent.
Does it affect the car mechanically? No. The system runs independently and doesn't interface with the motor, battery, or vehicle control systems.
Can I move it to another car? Yes. Installation is fully reversible, so the kit transfers when you sell.
Before you buy
This system produces simulated engine sound for entertainment purposes. Confirm your local regulations before use on public roads — some jurisdictions restrict aftermarket sound modification. If your vehicle already has a factory sound generation module, it must be disabled; running two sound systems simultaneously is not supported.
